I have a D175K100 that I needs mounting hardware. I prefer a 3 stack, but a single will do in a pinch. What have you guys got that will work?

At 2:13 PM, Blogger OhmiteENG_BM said...

Peanut,

The part number for a three stack would be: 6128-P-8.5 . The part number for the single stack would be: 6126-P-8.5

Thank you for choosing Ohmite!

Can adjustable resistors (ex. d100k10r) be mounted vertically or only horizontally and if not, why? How much clearance from other electronics such as movs and overloads do you recommend.

Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, they can be mounted either way - the horizonal bracketry is the 6XXX series of bracketry and the vertical bracketry the 7PA series of bracketry.

We do not have a standard suggested space from the dividohm to surrounding parts, but I would suggest at least 1-2" from the open windings.

Thanks and best regards,
Kate

I am in search of an Ohmite Variable Transformer VT8-X. Can you possibly tell me what difference there is between this model and the VT8? I am able to find the VT8, but nobody has the VT8-X.

Thanks!

The VT8-X is a special customer build transformer. We don't have the information regarding this piece due to information loss after production on these parts stopped. We usually recommend Staco Energy for customers looking for transformers. If you email info@ohmite.com asking for a datasheet i will be happy to supply one for the standard VT8.

Hello
I am desperate to source two part numbers:

SM102031003J Resistor, Thick film, planar 100K, immediate demand is 200 pcs.
SM102032503J Resistor, Thick film, planar 250K, immediate demand is 400 pcs.

Is there a new part number for each, or do you have these scheduled for production soon?
Can you tell me the life cycle status of both?
My annual use will be 2400 pcs. and 4800 pcs. respectively, so I need a good supply chain for these.

Please - I urge you to contact me asap with more insight as to how I can maintain a seamless supply of these two resistors.

I appreciate it and have a good one!

Hi im looking for resistors of 100Mohms and higher value (also 1000M ohms) do you have any of this in stock?, thanks...

Rebel, we suggest our Super Mox :
http://www.ohmite.com/cgi-bin/showpage.cgi?product=supermox&kw=Super-Mox-Series-High-Voltage-Resistors

Inventory is listed at:
http://dilp.netcomponents.com/cgi-bin/ohmite.asp?partnumber1=mox9&pq=Search

There are plenty of 100 Meg (1006 resistance code) and 1000 Meg (1007 resistance code) in distributor stock.

You can also try one of our other Mox products, see "Thick Film, High Voltage, and Precision Resistors" at: http://www.ohmite.com/cgi-bin/products.cgi

Purchasing wiz,

Both of these parts are in stock, please see these links:

http://dilp.netcomponents.com/cgi-bin/ohmite.asp?partnumber1=SM102031003J&pq=Search

http://dilp.netcomponents.com/cgi-bin/ohmite.asp?partnumber1=SM102032503J&pq=Search

The lead time for the balance of the second part number is 8 weeks. You can work with one of our distributors http://www.ohmite.com/disreps.html
to ensure these parts will be instock for you.

Thank you!!

I have two wirewound resistors both are 91J1K2 1200ohm 1.5w. Two different date codes. The one with date code "0646 MX" is open after we test it inour ciruit. The resistor is good and it's date code is 1W9003.

Does the 0646 MX date have any history of failing?

Can you please decipher the the 1W9003 date code and the MX.

Thanks

I have some MOX-400231007J resistors that I am using as part of a monitoring circuit on a 2kV 10uA supply. Problem is that I am finding that the value of the resistor can be off as much as 20% instead of the 1% spec. I found this out by replacing the resistors in question with spare ones I had. Is it possible to damage these resistors with with static?

At 3:39 PM, Blogger Piero said...

It is possible that the part is dirty (dirt or finger oil). This may cause parallel resistance. Please clean all the parts and re-check the tolerance.

The shafts are not available separate from the completed assembly. The only way to get them is to order the full spec number.

The 7070 repair kit is only instock at www.onlinecomponents.com and master distributors. Any of our other distributors can order it for you, but there would be a lead time as we have none on hand.

Thanks!
Kate

Hmm, how's this different than a web forum? I mean, Ohmite can post information in their blog, but the blog comments are just going to be a mishmash of tech support Q&A. I'd disable comments and open a series of webforums for Q&A. My $0.10 (used to be $0.02, but inflation and all)
